Life updates about me (Caine Monroy).

Hello, everyone. I hope you all are practicing social distancing and are spending time with your family. This blog is about some of my life updates on future plans, a little different from all of my other blogs, but I will hopefully do more of these in the future. I want to say thank you to everyone who has been reading my blogs and supporting everything I do. It means so much to me, I appreciate it!

This week I have some big news that I'm looking forward to share. On Thursday, May 7, 2020 we are going to host our very first virtual cardboard challenge. This challenge will take place on the TwoBitCircus foundation twitch channel. I will be making something very special but, I won’t be announcing what it is on here. If you really want to find out, then tune in into the Twitch stream this Thursday. I will also be starting a YouTube channel where I will be doing vlogs, D.I.Ys and whenever I do a speaking engagement, I'll be recording it as well. I will also be vlogging the virtual cardboard challenge. I will update you guys on my YouTube channel through the next blog and put a link below so you can subscribe.

As many of you know, I’m a senior in highschool. I'm proud to announce that I will be attending Cal State Dominguez Hills for college. When I was younger 9,10 and 11 I really wanted to be an engineer but as I got older, around 13 I was in love with video games. I think I might have been an addiction of mine. My dream as a 13 year old boy was to be a professional gamer and run a gaming YouTube channel. I would watch all these people on youtube making a living off of youtube posting game play videos. Then, I soon realized that I would enjoy being an entrepreneur a lot more. At Dominguez Hills, I will be majoring in Business Administration with the concentration of Entrepreneurship. I'm really excited for college, I think I will enjoy it much more than high school. Also, I am really excited for all the new friendships I am about to create. I saw a quote recently on Instagram that said, “Networking with the right people will get you way further than a diploma”. I really admire that quote. The truth behind it is vital for my future. In college, I will network with many people and try to find others with similar interests as mine. Hopefully, with all the good connections I make, I can simply create something to change the world and create things for people to enjoy.
